As an artist, I am inspired by people who love art. I enjoy looking at and painting landscapes, nature, shapes, and colors. I paint primarily on canvas using acrylic, including dimensional paint. My work demonstrates themes based on my personal experiences. Having been raised in the west Texas area, I have a strong appreciation for wide open spaces, land, and water. So much beauty is seen in a sunset, a tree, a mountain, or vast amounts of water. My paintings often include the idea of motion. I’m also inspired by new colors, unique color combinations, and scenes that make the observer take a second look. I ope to bring a feeling of curiosity and enjoyment to the observer’s experience.
